The tease for the Lotus Evora Roadster
Lotus are promising to ‘Blow the roof off Geneva’ in a cryptic tease for the Geneva Motor Show. We’re assuming that means the Lotus Evora Roadster. It’s three years since we reported Lotus future plans for the Evora, with a S/C version, auto ‘box and the Lotus Evora Roadster expected at some point.

But in order to cater to the growing number of contracts from Chinese automakers, Pininfarina will soon begin engineering and product development in China with a center in Shanghai's suburb of Anting. Nissan’s Global Compact Car first saw the light of day last year in design sketches released by Nissan. And the Nissan GCC signals what the project name suggests – a small car Nissan will market throughout the world. Which infortunately means that the UK – which produced Nissan’s last small car, the previous generation Nissan Micra – isn’t viable as a global producer.
